About us:
Stegra, formerly known as H2 Green Steel, is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what’s next in store for us.

Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst, you will be an essential member of Stegra's Growth & Hydrogen Business team, supporting business development projects that scale our green hydrogen offering globally. You will assist in individual workstreams and analyses, contributing to the identification of new market opportunities and the maturation of existing projects. This role is designed for a professional who can perform detailed research and analysis while collaborating with team members and stakeholders. You will gain valuable insights into the green hydrogen economy and have opportunities to develop and share your expertise within the global Stegra organization.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze new market opportunities, both in terms of new geographies and industries.
- Develop business cases and support go/no-go investment decisions.
- Perform market research, data mining, and business intelligence.
- Conduct technical analysis and benchmarking.
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues and interact with internal and external stakeholders to drive investment decisions and support project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business, or a related field. Masters degree is a preference.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Great presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude.
- Technical interest and knowledge.
- Experience from steel/ iron/ iron ore or hydrogen related offtake is highly meriting, but not required.
