About us:
Stegra, formerly known as H2 Green Steel, is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what’s next in store for us.

Digital Project manager and Business Developer
As a project manager within Digital & Business Development, you will own and lead the digital and business development agenda for a prioritized business unit. It is a broad responsibility that involves both creating an overall roadmap that ensures business objectives as well as execution on that roadmap. You will lead prioritized initiatives, and ensure that the value of each initiative is realized by driving implementation and change management for the involved business unit. You will also lead a digital development team to implement digital solutions and, in that way, ensure a true connection between the business development and digital development agenda.
While the responsibility focuses on a certain business unit, your true mission lies in enhancing productivity and collaboration in cross-functional value flows. It will be your responsibility to use our cross-functional approach to bring clarity on what is unclear and to bring the right people together to ensure value is optimized for the company in total. Strong emphasis will therefore be on your influential skills and your ability to understand what truly needs to be solved, and to be the enzyme to push those cross-functional conversations forward – also when functional priorities might be contradictory.

Responsibilities:
- Build and own the business and digital development roadmap for a prioritized business unit
- Manage priorities towards that roadmap by balancing Stegra overall goals as well as the value creation for each business function
- Lead a digital development team, which includes;
- Responsibility for the deliveries of the team
- Ensure the right resources in the team to execute on the defined roadmap
- Ensure productivity in the team by fostering team dynamics and efficient ways of working
- Run cross-functional initiatives within digital and business development. The initiatives will start at scope and issue definition and continue with execution and evaluation of outcomes as well as ensuring a process and responsibility for continuous improvements
- Contribute by advocating and fulfilling Stegra’s digital strategy and ways of working within the initiatives and with the stakeholders you operate with
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in management consulting, digital and business development, product management or related experience, working with operational excellence and process improvement; high-growth or early-stage start-up experience is a bonus
- A degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Experience in leading large cross-functional initiatives
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives and software solution development.
- Experience in reporting to C-level steering committees
- Experience working with business and process development for corporate functions (finance, legal, procurement, human resources, etc.) within the manufacturing industry is a strong bonus
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
- The ability to drive change at all organizational levels – communicate and operate both at C-level to enable fast and informed decisions, as well as to operate integrated with digital teams, developers, and architects on detailed solution outlines.
- The ability to lead change effectively by your strong mindset to push things forward with the combination of humility and the ability to understand and read your surroundings
- The ability to build strong team spirit in different contexts where you are involved to make people feel dedicated to contributing on a solution
- A positive can-do attitude: a personality that enjoys working in a dynamic, collaborative, innovative high-growth, fast-paced environment
