About us:
Stegra, formerly know as H2 Green Steel, is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what’s next in store for us.

Daytime Manager
We’re seeking 2 leaders to develop our warehouse and workshop teams. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations to ensure timely material deliveries while fostering collaboration with suppliers and delivery partners to streamline logistics.
As part of our vision for a digitalized, efficient, and sustainable supply chain, you’ll drive operational improvements, manage consignment stocks, and oversee refurbishments—all while contributing to Stegra’s growth and sustainability goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and upskill the operational team, addressing skill gaps through targeted training and mentorship.
- Ensure warehouse and workshop operations align with Stegra’s safety policies, industry standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Oversee material flow, inventory control, and production alignment while driving efficiency through digitalized supply chain solutions.
- Partner with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain seamless material availability and improve operational processes.
- Develop strategies aligned with Stegra’s business and sustainability goals, focusing on resource optimization and eco-friendly practices.
- Implement performance metrics, refine workflows, and spearhead initiatives for continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a strong grasp of maintenance operations and a passion for problem-solving in dynamic environments.
- Over 3 years of experience in warehousing, maintenance, and workshop operations within heavy industry, including refurbishments and large-scale projects.
- Practical knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and digital tools for asset management, ready to lead in a digital-first landscape.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate with diverse teams of 50+ members, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001) and IATF 16949, ensuring safety, quality, and sustainability in operations.
- Very good communication skills in English, with Swedish language skills as a plus to connect and thrive in a multicultural organization.
