About us:
Stegra, formerly known as H2 Green Steel, is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what’s next in store for us.

Internship in Document Control Team - Stegra - Boden
Are you passionate about the construction industry and eager to gain real-world experience? We’re looking for a proactive and organized Document Control Intern to join our dynamic team on the Stegra Boden project. In this role, you’ll dive into the heart of the construction process, learning how to manage critical project documentation and collaborate with industry professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to build your skills, network with experts, make a tangible impact on a high-profile project and power a new, clean industrial revolution.
Basic Information:
- Start Date: As soon as possible.
- Duration: 6 months with possibility to prolong for 6 additional months.
- Location: Boden, Sweden.
- Working hours: 20-40 hours per week depending on availability.
- Compensation: Between 150 - 165 SEK / hour depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in our Document Management System OMEGA 365 to conduct trainings and introductions into the system to the whole project team.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining all project documentation, e.g., drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Help ensure the accurate and timely distribution of documents to project stakeholders.
- Support the maintenance of document control logs, tracking, and archiving project documents.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure document accuracy and compliance.
- Aid in the preparation and submission of documentation for approvals and permits.
- Provide general administrative support to the project team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information.
- Highly motivated to work in project to make a positive impact on the global environment.
- Capable of working in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A keen interest in the construction industry and willingness to learn
- Optional: First experiences in Construction Document Management Systems.
